FACULTY AIMS
Provide higher education opportunities for graduates of secondary
schools and scientific institutes and open up leadership for the
rehabilitation of young people and to train them to participate actively
in the development of their society.
OBJECTIVES OF THE FACULTY
• Preparation of competencies of qualified and trained students in
order to meet the needs of the community.
• Provision of advice in various areas of legitimacy.
• Holding training courses in various fields which keep pace of
technological development and scientific progress to upgrade the
performance the students’ knowledge.
• Creating awareness of the relationship of religion and community
life and graduation competencies must have the ability of
scientific link between legislation and renewed life
• Permitted integrated personality of the students and deepening
national and religious affiliation
• Disseminate Arab and Islamic culture in the Somali society.
ACHIEVEMENTS
• Graduate education and specialized cadres in forensic science
from a university degree
• Fill the needs of the region for forensic science specialists in the
areas of justice and teaching
• Participation in the ongoing case works in the area of
symposiums, lectures and student camps.
• Continue to provide opportunities for graduates of Graduate
Faculty of Shari’ah and Islamic studies
GRADUATION
The graduate from the Faculty of Shari’ah and Islamic Studies includes two groups of
male and female students. The numbers of graduates from the first two groups account
fifty eight students in 2004. The University has made great effort to create opportunities
for postgraduate education, and managed to achieve this. Nine students currently
continue their higher studies in scholarships provided by Arab Republic of Egypt, and
three students carry on studies in the Republic of Sudan. Also one graduate completed
his postgraduate diploma in the Institute of imams and preachers of the Association of
the Islamic world. |
